I only had 2 issues with the experience. First: I had an automatic withdrawal from a bank card and it expired and this company didn’t alert me about my account being behind and I almost lost my spot. Second; I eventually left my spot and discovered mold on my furniture! It’s supposed to be climate controlled environment…..why the mold?!

STAY AWAY! I rented 12 units from them and stored over $100,000 worth of household goods after our store closed, our life savings. Our items became at risk because of delinquent payments. Our most expensive items went to auction. 2 weeks prior to the closing of the auction I was told by the attendant of the facility that the "Cross Collateralization" clause in the agreement was rescinded and I could save as many units as our monies would allow prior to any bidder actually paying for the auctioned items. I was told that as long as I paid the storage fees of the units I wanted to keep, including the units on auction, I would not lose the items. Because our items were bid up very high, "because of the value", Melissa the supervisor decided to over rule the store managers decision and enforce the Cross Collateralization clause forcing us to lose all of our items. I was prepared to save our most valuable items but the supervisor Melissa blocked the settling of individual accounts and forced us to lose our life savings of over $100k for $8000. I have saved voice mail messages from the attendant advising that I could pay on individual units. Its all about the money with this company DO NOT PUT ALL OF YOUR UNITS UNDER ONE Umbrella and definitely don't use this company. I was scammed and this wont be the last of it. I tried to explain to Melissa that when employee's break company policies, it is not the consumers fault. I will be seeking remedy.

I was late on my payment knew I was getting my things so I’m thinking pay up to now so I can get my stuff. They had already deactivated my code because I hadn’t paid I understand. But I have to pay for a WHOLE MONTH I DONT NEED! I emailed they won’t even respond but keep sending me reminders to do a review. They care for a review but not to answer the emails.

My husband leased a storage unit here at national storage for the past 8 years. The last 8 months new owners took over and his lease was quickly terminated due to harassment by the new manager Chris, and he couldn't give any reason on why he was going to terminate the lease, I suggest you just find another place to rent a storage because the guy chris. The manager is very prejudiced and if you are of color you will not be treated fairly. He also went as far as to locking my husband in the storage unit. At exactly 801 my husband then had to call 911. He then called myself to let me know what was happening. I called 911 from my job location and I was actually afraid for his safety and it was the police, who had to show up to actually let him out of the storage so please beware. And that just wouldn't be a great place to get a unit, find another place.
