I rented a storage space from National Storage online. When I went to view the space, I realized that it was not a temperature controlled unit and it also was not large enough. Adam was kind enough to upgrade us to a temperature controlled unit and also went above and beyond to give us a larger space at no extra charge. Well we registered online and by telephone to reserve a drive up unit and received confirmation, however when we arrived, the drive up unit we reserved was given to another individual ( that’s the bad ). However arrangements were made and issue resolved by allowing us to attain a ground level drive up unit at the sister storage, which went smooth and excellent, staff was friendly and helpful and fast! I have done business here recently, and I must say that I was really satisfied with the customer service that I was given by the employee, Stephen. I am very very paranoid when it comes to my personal valuables and putting them in storage, but Stephen made me feel comfortable and assured that I am in good hands. I highly recommend this facility and their services to anyone that are looking for units to reserve.

Reserved a unit and received a follow up call within an hour asking if I had any questions, concerns or needs. The following day reached out to pick up keys and a very nice woman answered and set everything up very quickly and efficient. I am confident in not just the unit I am renting, but the employees that work there. Extraordinary customer service couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend.

I had such an excellent experience coming to this facility. I was met by a store clerk, Stephen Clark, and all of my questions were answered thoroughly and positively. It was my first time needing to use a storage unit so I was kinda nervous because I was uncertain on what to do but mr. Clark made this experience very easy going. I strongly recommend this location for anyone that needs to purchase a storage unit. **UPDATE** Since leaving this review, I have been in contact with the regional manager. We have worked together to find a reasonable solution that works for both of us. I am updating my two stars to five because of this. I absolutely hate being the person who comes online to publicly air issues, but unfortunately it seems this is the only avenue I have left. I rented a 5x10 unit, and upon moving items into the unit discovered the insulation above was a balloon of water, that shortly after started leaking. I went to the office to notify Stephen. He tried to get ahold of the regional manager, but was unsuccessful so he allowed me to move my times to a 10x20, which was the only unit available. Thankfully I had help moving that day, and had a truck available to me, so we were able to move my items. Days later I hear from from Stephen. He was SO kind and accommodating. He offered a 10x10 unit, which sounds like a compromise, except I no longer have the moving help or truck available. The regional manager said they would absolutely not budge on price for the unit I had to move my items to. I asked if I could speak to her directly, but was never given her number or an email I could contact her with. At this point- they are expecting me to either pay full price, move my items for a THIRD time, and will not be hiring moving help or a truck for me to move my items with. I can not afford to take additional time off work to accommodate them for a storage unit that was not up to par when I moved into it. The unit I originally rented was 117, I was also able to see 111 had significant water hanging within the insulation also. I am curious to know what solutions they offered the units between, 113 &115. Do the renters of those units know their items could be ruined? Did they offer them to move into a different unit? If there are numerous customers being effected, how has a more appropriate solution not been presented? According to their mission statement they adhere to "the ability to work with our valued customers," yet I did not experience this. Instead of 1 star, I am giving 2, because Stephen has been kind, and understanding. Also, the facility is very clean!

Stephen Clark (livonia north)is accommadating in anything that I have asked of him. His customer service is superb. Great guy. He's a keeper.

He also gave me information on what I was doing wrong with securing my storage unit. This place is not only tightly secure, but clean and very easy to get to. No need to go inside. Quick drive up and drop off. Thank you very much Stephen for your help. Will be using this place for a long time to come.
