Had a storage unit for 3 years, never had an issue. Affordable, Never had a rent increase. I'd recommend.

The staff definitely understands how to value a customer. They went out of the way to make sure I was satisfied with my new rental.

I called from out of town to reserve a 10x20 unit. Everyone that I spoke to on the phone was always very friendly and helpful. I didn’t make my reservation date and they called me so I could re-reserve my unit. When I made it on site the lady and gentleman was extremely helpful and polite. Great place to store your belongings.

Guardian Self Storage staff has been like family to us. The storage unit was inside a temp controlled building with security cameras. They have smaller outdoor units and will store your camping unit with cameras on property. We used all three services over time. I called in my payment using my credit card. You can pay online or in their office.. You have your own made up code to open the gate. I had a great experience using their facility. They definitely are the place to use. We will be back if a need comes up again.

Candy and Rob are the experts running Guardian Self Storage in Monroe, MI. The are an absolutely stellar team. They share duties in the office and are very well versed in the daily running of the office. They are efficient, well versed and so very friendly that it makes you want to go back. The office, grounds and storage units are very clean, and neat. When you leave you do so with a feeling of confidence that your belongings are secure and will be undamaged upon your return. Everything is well maintained inside and out, right down to the freshly painted stripes in the parking lot. It's salted and the drives are plowed free of snow to ease your deliveries and pickups. They provide a snow shovel for any extra removal due to drifting. I can't say enough good about my experience with Candy and Rob and their obvious caring attitude toward my experience as a customer with Guardian Self Storage. I feel that I have made two new friends and hope we may continue that friendship. They are conviently located in Monroe between Monroe and Telegraph roads, on Stewart Rd across from Lazy Boy's world headquarters.

Picked up a budget moving truck from them and they were the best, the owner was so nice and honest, he walked me outside and showed the truck scratches, etc and just made it all super easy, plus 400 bucks cheaper than U-Haul, Penske, etc. I would recommend them to anyone.

This was so easy to use I've never had to rent a storage unit before and Googled storage units near me and this site popped up, all I had to do is type the area code in and it showed all the storage units by me, I just found the best one that fit my needs and bamm reserved it and it was so simple also it did give me the first month's free I just had to pay insurance and the one time 18 dollar fee which compared to what it would have costed I'm pretty darn happy with this site it's awesome

I left Michigan about 17 years ago, Raisinville to be specific and relocated to another state. (still GO BLUE) recently I needed to return for personal reasons and needed a place to store furnishings and other personal items. My Go to was Guardian Storage. I had used them in the past and here they are still standing, still professional and with sympathetic ear. Their property is clean, well maintained, secure and very cost effective. As I leave I know that my things will be safe and without concern of security. I would encourage anyone that needs either temporary or long-term storage to select these folks first. They take good care of you and your possessions. Easy and friendly to work with. I needed that at this particular moment. Thank you Candy for effective, efficient and kindness.

Used them in 2019, and forgot to post a review. I don’t remember there being anything to complain about. I do remember, it was easy, convenient, and reasonably priced. The people at the front desk (man & woman) were down to earth, and provided friendly service. No hidden fees. Would definitely use them again.

Staff was wonderful and helpful when securing new storage unit. The place is safe and secure which makes us feel great about renting a space here.

I went in today to get myself set up with a 3 month rental, just long enough to help organize my things as I prepare to move to Alaska. Rob and Candy were super helpful and got me in a unit quickly. When I came back a couple hours later and asked if I could switch to a different unit, they made the transfer for me and didn't seem bothered in the least for any inconvenience. The grounds are clean, the office staff is friendly, and they sell packing supplies in their office which will be a nice convenience as I prepare for my big move.

If an issue arose they were prompt in fixing and helping anything I needed help with. The price is Very reasonable in comparison to others in my community. I love the new climate controlled building! It will be perfect for my art and furniture while I am living out-of-state!

They dont offer military discount anymore. But great service and clean facility. Very happy

Never had a problem accessing the storage unit at any time and that's why I'm giving two star's, biggest issue was mice inside storage unit that damaged some items I had stored, The ceiling inside the storage unit had water damage at some point and had sections bowed and hanging down.I also inquired about the overhead lightbulb in the storage unit to be replaced because I had to access my storage unit at night and was told none of the units had electricity to them. I installed a new bulb and it worked fine, the poor work ethics at this facility in assisting with the above problems is why I am no longer at this storage facility.

I called back to find out if I could get any money back as I only rented for a week and have not heard from no one. I won't recommend due to customer support problems.

Rented a truck with a faulty gas gauge. It was noted on the paperwork as such. Turned in truck full to the neck as indicated by Budget. Now I'm being charged $53.80 for fuel. I'm assuming someone took the liberty of filling up their own car because that amount wouldn't even have fit when I dropped it off. They are liars and cheats. I thoroughly regret choosing this company to move my family across two states. Edit: Customer service was able to issue me a refund for the so called fuel. I was also able to file a report against this location with Budget. Not sure how long this location has been stealing from people. Hopefully this makes a difference.

Im currently renting a outside storage spot. No issue with any of that. I feel comfortable parking there but i went in to pay my rent and it went up $13 bucks with no notification. I asked for corporate number and was told they would call me the next day with it...well nothing. I went in the day after to get the number and again i was told they don't have it......that is bad customer service.
