Colleen & Kay run a tight ship and this is the nicest storage facility I’ve ever rented from. The place is spotless and easy to get into and out of with easy access code, rolling carts, and good hours. I needed summer storage for my classroom supplies until I could move into my new classroom and this couldn’t have been any better. I checked every storage place in the area and this was the cheapest as well. The ladies are so nice that I actually looked forward to seeing them and brought them “Thank you” gifts when I no longer needed my storage unit, that’s how nice they are. Alan B.

I only wish I could go back in time akd start my search here first. They are wonderful! So friendly and helpful. I walked in and had no idea what I was doing as this is my first time needing a storage unit. I walked out MAYBE 20 minutes later with a great deal on a 10×10 for half off for 3 months. WAY cheaper than anywhere else is offering for units half that size. The units are well kept, clean, indoors and secure, and climate controlled. And you could not ask for friendlier women running the place. Thank you!!!

Helped a friend move last Saturday. He used the National storage facility at 3469 South High Street. There's plenty of parking and the staff were very helpful. I was in charge of watching the items still at the curb and the Uhaul. I never did get her name but she had long gray/blonde hair. She offered me a chair so the wait would be more comfortable. You have to use a code to get into the building and into the elevator. The storage facility offers dollies/carts so you can move your stuff in easier. If I ever need to store some belongings, I'll use this facility.

This storage facility is great! I was helping my friend move his belongings into a second floor storage unit--Kat and Colleen were so helpful, offering us water and chairs to sit if we needed to take a break. They even let us borrow carts to make the move that much easier. Definitely recommend!

This place hasn’t always had the best reputation and previous management has been faulty to say the least. They do a great job of making you feel like your things are safe and keeping out loiterers (which used to be a huge problem)

Honestly the two ladies working went above and beyond and the facility was clean and well kept and surveillance seemed top notch so I'm really happy with my experience.

When I purchased my unit it wasn't big enough and these wonderful ladies helped me get a larger unit and made me smile on one of my worst days! Joking with me and making plans to go to Paris! After researching nearly a dozen locations, we settled on National Storage at Great Southern and couldn't be happier with our choice! The facility is clean, dry and temperature controlled. Accessing our unit was easy as the aisles are smooth and wide. Gina made the process of renting the unit, purchasing a lock and getting us setup for a successful moving day an absolute breeze. Thank you so much for all of your help! We're here to stay and are happy to recommend this location to friends and family who are looking for storage solutions!

Just walked in this morning after paying for my unit online last night and was greeted by Kat. She was very nice and very helpful. After she verified who I was and took a picture of my photo ID she walked me back to my unit and gave me a few helpful hints. I’m very satisfied with the customer service and a bit surprised as well. This time last year I rented from another storage company right down the road and had the worse experience anyone could have so I assumed this place would be the same. Boy was I wrong. So far so good if anything changes you all will be the first to know.

However the two ladies, which are new to the office, appear to be trying to make it better. There was actually heat turned on and it's noticably cleaner.

BUT the storage center itsself is very nice and clean and indoors so you don’t have to worry about your stuff being effected by the weather or animals. The staff here is okay. They are mostly friendly when you see them face to face. Definitely don’t get behind on a payment because THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU AT ALL. I was told they don’t take half payments only the full amount can be collected. Other than that I prefer the company they bought the place from Extra Space Storage much better friendly and better pricing!

The rent keeps going up and the access hours keep getting restricted. Now we can't access our units after 5:30pm daily no access at all on Sundays?? Why would you run off customers who work normal business hours? Now I can only access my unit on Saturdays. I don't feel right paying someone this much money every month to keep me from my stuff. Just hire a security guard to keep homeless people from using the place as a residence and give us better access hours!

I moved to a different storage company Rhino storage . Because Narional storage keeps upping the rates 160 for a 10x10 unit where my items have mold on them and it smells severely bad in the storage place . They've locked my unit ( didn't know they had access to my unit until they messed up and locked it ) I tried to open my unit and couldn't so i got an employee and they had to use their key to turn it where my key would work (cylinder lock) never been late on a payment its automatically taken from my bank acct I used to have 2 units but downsized to 1 . The old long white haired female employee is rude and shouldn't be doing anything that has to do with customer service or talking to the public . Rhino storage for the same size unit is 60 less and in a much better area and cleaner . I'd never rent there again .

I have never been so disrespected out of the 56 years I have been on this earth by the 2 girls that’s been at national storage on S. High St. in Columbus Ohio for the past few months and definitely on September 11, 2023 when I moved out of that storage because of them they were so mean nasty. Every time I went there. Their Customer service skills are horrible I would never ever Get a storage from there again nor will I refer anyone. The treatment was terrible. Those two do not need to be in customer service who ever those two mean girls are they were so mean very very mean and nasty nasty nasty. Please Please Please get rid of them it would make that company way better I can’t explain how horrible they talk to and treat people in the public it’s disgusting and sickening ?

Unit was broken into items were stolen. I wasn’t notified or contacted. But they always contacted me when my rent was due durring those 2 months. I found out coming into a changed lock. The insurance I carried did not cover anything because by the time I filed a claim it had already been 2 months since the break in. When this storage facility changed hands to National storage so did facilities quality.

Went to hell since new manager took over (Gina). Multiple break ins, unfriendly staff, just all around poorly ran. Rent at your own risk but be aware that they don't care about your property you store there. Was wrongly evicted, was never given a reason why even, and then was told we had until a certain date to have our belongings out in which when we tried the code was suspended and unit overlocked!!! Staff also refuses to give explanation of eviction.
